I know its been awhile since we've uploaded a new blog, the New Year so far has been very fully and busy but were back now and will continue on as usual.
This week I was shocked and blown away when a memory popped up on my phone from March last year when we were still laying out tarps!
Opening our second silage tarp, March 2022
In March we laid out our second large silage tarp.
It then wasn’t until April that we had a long enough break in the rain to do a one time till and build the permanent raised beds.
In May we started our first little baby seedlings on our front porch as we didn’t have a green house set up.
Finally in June we started to erect our greenhouse and planted our very first seedling with the help of some dear friends and family.
July was our first harvest and it was a delicious bed of Pak Choi!
It’s crazy to think that it hasn’t even been a year since we planted our first seedling.
Looking back over the last year it’s certainly been a wild ride. With lots of successes and probably just as many failures
We’re both super excited to see what the coming year brings on our little vegetable plot
